I am primarily a watercolor artist, with a focus on landscape and portraiture. I have been painting since the late 1970’s; my first solo portrait show was in 1987 when I was in college. After a brief stint as an illustrator at an advertising agency, I took a hiatus from art after college to start a business with my brother and to start a family. This business, Visible Body, is as its name suggests visual in nature and focuses on teaching human anatomy through 3D models. It wasn’t until my daughter went off to college for art that I decided to throw myself back into painting. I see art as a second career for myself and feel fortunate that I have this opportunity to reinvent myself.
